Portals & internal tools · New York
Customer portals, client dashboards, booking systems, internal tools. We build the software that replaces the shared spreadsheet, the forwarded PDF and the seven phone calls it takes to answer "where's my order?"
Every role sees only what it should. Try the demo: same portal, three different people.

Demo data. Your portal would carry your own records, roles and rules.
The problem
Most businesses don't decide to build a portal. They notice one afternoon that four people are keeping the same list, the newest version is in somebody's downloads folder, and half the week goes into answering questions the customer could have looked up.
What we build
Different names, same core: accounts, permissions, records and a workflow that used to live in somebody's head.
Typical features
The business case
Move the sliders to your own numbers. This is a rough estimate of the admin hours a portal takes off your team, not a promise, and we'd rather you check our working than take our word for it.
Chasing status, retyping data, finding the right file, answering the same question.
Salary plus overhead, not what lands in their bank account.
Our assumption. We default low on purpose: portals move work, they don't delete all of it.
Estimated admin cost recovered
a year, across
≈ of time back every weekRough payback on a [$—] build
An estimate built from your inputs, nothing else. It ignores the things that are harder to count and often matter more: fewer mistakes, faster answers for customers, and work that no longer depends on one person being at their desk.
Get a real number →Before you spend anything
We build custom portals for a living and we still talk people out of them most months. Here's the honest split.
When your process is normal, even if it doesn't feel like it.
We'll help you choose one, set it up and connect it to your site. That's a much smaller invoice, and we'd rather have it than a rebuild in a year.
When the process is the business.
Then it's worth owning outright: no per-seat fees, no roadmap you don't control, no export when they get acquired.
If your team is bending its process to fit a tool you're renting, and the bend is costing real hours, a custom build usually pays for itself. If you're bending because change is hard, it won't.
Access & security
Portals hold the things that matter: customer records, prices, invoices, documents. Every build gets this, whether it's six users or six hundred.
If you have compliance obligations, say so on the first call. We build to support them and we work alongside your auditor, but we don't certify anything ourselves, and anyone who says they do is selling.
How it goes
Portals fail when they're designed in a meeting room and revealed at the end. Yours goes in front of the people who'll use it in week four.
Integrations
A portal that doesn't sync with your accounting or your CRM just moves the retyping somewhere else. We connect the systems you already pay for, and we build the sync so a failure tells somebody instead of quietly stopping.
Not on the list? If it has an API, or even a nightly CSV, we can usually work with it.
Pricing
Fixed quote after a scoping call, because a portal quoted off a two-line brief is a portal quoted wrong.

Every portal also needs looking after: updates, monitoring, backups and small changes. That's a monthly care plan, quoted with the build so it's never a surprise.
FAQ
Because they help build it. We interview the people doing the work in week one, put a clickable prototype in front of them in week three, and give them a working version early enough that their complaints still change the software. A portal nobody adopts is usually one nobody was asked about.
It comes with you. Spreadsheets, an old database, exports from a system you're leaving. We map it, clean the obvious mess, import it, and show you the rows that didn't fit so you can decide what they should be.
Yes, and for field teams that's usually the main screen. We design the phone view for the two or three things people do outside the office, rather than shrinking a desktop table and hoping.
Your cloud account or one we set up in your name. For most portals of this size, hosting runs a modest monthly figure, and we'll show you the estimate before you commit. No per-seat pricing, so adding staff doesn't raise the bill.
You will, and that's a sign it's being used. Most clients keep a monthly care plan with hours for changes. You can also take the code to another developer: it's yours, it's documented, and it's written in mainstream frameworks on purpose.
Almost always, and we'll usually suggest it. Pick the one workflow that hurts most, ship that, and let it earn the next phase. It's cheaper, it's faster to adopt, and you learn what you actually need before committing to the rest.
A portal runs in a browser, so there's nothing to install and updates are instant. A mobile app makes sense when you need the camera, offline use, push notifications or a home-screen icon. Plenty of clients start with the portal and add an app later, which is the cheaper order to do it in.

Describe the process, who touches it and where it goes wrong. We'll come back with a shape, a phase-one scope and a number. If the answer is "buy this instead," we'll say that too.
