It also has to survive a 16-pixel browser tab, an embroidered cap, a delivery van at forty miles an hour and somebody's fax machine. We design marks that hold up everywhere, plus the system that keeps them consistent after we leave.
Every file you'll ever need, full ownership, and guidelines your next designer will thank you for.
The problem
You've seen the offer: a hundred designers, a fixed fee, ninety concepts in a week. What arrives is a typeface somebody licensed for personal use, a shape borrowed from a stock library, and one giant PNG with a white box behind it.
Then the sign maker asks for vector artwork. The printer asks for CMYK. Instagram crops the wordmark in half. Nobody can find the original file, and the person who made it stopped answering nine months ago.
We do fewer concepts, further. Then we hand you every format, in your name, with the rules written down.
The stress test
Every mark we ship gets put through this before anyone sees a presentation. Flip the switches and watch a mark that passes. A logo built from a stock gradient and thin script type fails the first two.
A placeholder mark, drawn for this page. Yours would be designed around your business, not a rounded square.
Colour & type
Colour, typography, spacing and tone do more work than the mark itself. Tap through five directions and watch the same brand change personality without the logo moving.
The handover
No "send us $200 and we'll unlock the vector." Pick a part of the kit to see what's inside.
Right-sizing it
Three different jobs that get sold under the same word. Here's the honest version, including when the cheapest one is the right call.

Our difference
Original
Drawn, not downloaded
Every mark is built from scratch in vector. No stock shapes, no font you could buy for nine dollars.
Tested
It survives the real world
Tiny, one-colour, embroidered, etched, on a van and on a phone, before we present it.
Documented
Rules anyone can follow
Clear space, minimum sizes, what never to do. Your intern and your sign maker both get it right.
Yours
Source files on day one
Editable vectors, licensed fonts listed, and written assignment of the artwork to your business.
FAQ
Three routes, each a genuinely different idea, each taken far enough to judge. Ninety thumbnails sounds generous and is actually a way to avoid committing to anything. You pick a direction, then we refine it together.
Sometimes you should. If you're testing an idea and need something on a business card next week, a cheap mark is a reasonable stopgap. The problems show up later: unclear licensing, no source files, a typeface you can't legally use on signage, and a shape that may already belong to somebody else.
No. We're designers, not trademark attorneys, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling. We do a basic search for obvious conflicts before we get attached to a direction, and we'll happily work with your attorney on the filing.
You do, in writing, on final payment. That includes editable source files. Fonts are a separate thing: typefaces are licensed, not owned, so we list exactly what you need and how to license it, and we'll pick free-to-use faces if you'd rather not.
It's rare, because the discovery work happens before anyone draws anything, and we show you the thinking at each stage rather than a big reveal at the end. If it does happen, we'll go back to the strategy and explore a new round rather than nudging a mark you don't believe in.
As part of a rebrand, yes: we'll run naming sessions, check domains and social handles, and shortlist options. Naming on its own is a different kind of project, so tell us early if that's the real job.
Yes, and it's often the smart move. We'll rebuild the artwork properly in vector, fix the spacing, add the missing lockups, and build the colour, type and guideline system around the mark you already own.
